AREA INFORMATION AND RESOURCES
Here are a few amazing organizations/events that enhance our area!
Boat-in Worship on Lake Wawasee
Have you ever been to church on a boat? Well, here's your chance! Started over 50 years ago by our own Harlan Steffen, this staple of Lake Wawasee life is still going strong! Every Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor day, you can worship God from your boat, the Frog's Lilly Pad boat or on shore at Oakwood Inn and Resort from 8:30-9 AM!
WACF
The Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was created to protect, preserve, and enhance the Wawasee Area Watershed for present and future generations. They also have beautiful trails that are free to visit. Click the button below to find out more!
Compass - a ministry of the Syracuse-Wawasee Ministerial Association
Compass is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps our Lake Wawasee neighbors who find themselves struggling financially due to job loss, accident, illness or injury with rent and utility assistance. Compass also has a thrift store in Syracuse that will happily take your gently used donations. Visit their website to find out more.
